Remove Signs of Acne Scarring with Lasers
Is acne scarring holding you back from pursuing what you really want out of life? You can restore your personal confidence and self-esteem by minimizing noticeable skin imperfections, such as acne scarring, age spots, warts, keloids, and facial wrinkles thanks to advanced cosmetic laser procedures. Using the sophisticated laser technologies presented by eTwo™, eLight®, elos™, and PicoWay®, The Facial Center offers laser acne scarring reduction procedures in both our Charleston, WV, and Hurricane, WV locations to help patients of all ages reduce the appearance of scars and other types of pigmented lesions.
How the Scar Removal Process Works Here
eTwo™, eLight®, and elos™ use an intense pulsed light (IPL) to reduce the appearance of unwanted age spots, freckles, rosacea, and more from your face, neck, or other parts of your body, while the PicoWay® laser uses three different wavelengths with ultra-short, powerful picosecond pulses of energy to transform your skin from the inside out. Cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), PicoWay® has been shown to minimize the appearance and thickness of many acne, burn, and injury-related scars and other skin imperfections in a short amount of time for many patients.
Sessions are typically 15-20 minutes in length and most patients experience little to no discomfort during the procedure and little to no downtime afterward. Depending on the size, location, and extent of your scarring, individual results may vary. Minor side effects reported by some patients after treatment include temporary pain, swelling, redness, or oozing that usually subsides within a few days.
